Once we understand the customer's needs from a needs analysis, we can research options for the ideal solution. This includes liaison with service providers and product vendors; collecting and evaluating quotations. The outcome of the technical research is a document that provide options to solve the needs as defined in the needs analysis.
The solution design includes analyzing risk, cost, interoperability and technical boundaries. The solution design will describe the solution in terms of solving the needs with the learnings from the technical research.
